Quiz Architect:
Own your content. Own your craft.
Not another hosted quiz platform. A standalone studio that puts you back in control — because I learned the hard way what happens when you build on someone else's land.
The day everything disappeared
For over 20 years I built enterprise systems at HP/EDS. Then I went independent and poured my experience into training apps. People loved them. And then — platform policies and trademark claims erased them overnight. No appeal. No way to get my content, my question banks or user data back.
I didn't just lose apps. I lost a business. That day, I stopped building castles on someone else's cloud. I started building tools for the chaos of real life — starting with my own.
Why I built Quiz Architect
I needed a way to create quizzes, exams and training content that no platform could take away. I needed:
- Ownership of my data — stored on my device, not a cloud I don't control
- Freedom to export — to Moodle, to a website, to Udemy, or a simple ZIP backup
- Real teaching features — spaced repetition, exam simulations, training modes, stats
- To work everywhere — offline, on iPad, Windows, phone, without subscription lock‑in
I couldn't find that app. So I built it. Quiz Architect is the tool I use to teach, to train, and to never lose my work again.
What Quiz Architect is NOT
- ✖ A single certification course
- ✖ A hosted quiz site where you upload content to me
- ✖ A subscription service that owns your data
What Quiz Architect IS
The deal: free trial, fair upgrade
I offer a free trial – one quiz, up to 10 questions. Practice and play without restrictions. When you need unlimited quizzes and pro features (bulk import, advanced exports, image support), there's a one‑time purchase. No subscription. No data mining. No platform dependency.
I learned the hard way that platform dependency is a trap. Quiz Architect is my answer. It's the tool I use to teach, to train, and to never lose my work again.
Two sides of the same builder
From HP/EDS (20+ years) to independent developer. After losing my training apps overnight, I shifted to building for myself first — solving real operational chaos.
Open for contract work, too
Websites for hosts · Full‑stack development · Custom apps · Product thinking with real‑world empathy (because I am the user). If you need a builder who understands platform risk, offline resilience, and practical tooling — let's talk.
